The ATM staff helped us make this an amazing day. And all this was possible because of our community of yogis coming together with the desire to uplift each other and support those in need. And a huge shout out to our amazing volunteers of the day: Emily Norton, Marlene Yang, Cindi Arrighi, Johanna O'Connor, Roberta Neves, Pierre Gouvin, Trish Cassady, Beth Marootian, Sandra Lee, Leigh Vincola and Shannah Green. We are humbled and inspired!

Saturday, January 20th

GALA LAUNCH PARTY

Come join us for an all day celebration of the launch of our Community Outreach Program, Community Matters! We will be showcasing and fundraising for our first nonprofit partner, Women's Refugee Care. The day will be filled with nourishing services and classes, and education. The evening will feature speakers from both Community Matters and Women's Refugee Care. We celebrate with food, music, and community, while supporting a wonderful cause with a silent auction and donation classes. The event will be held at the Providence All That Matters yoga studio at 128 N. Main St. Save the date!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Morning classes at 8:15, 8:30, 9:45 and 10am. Bring baby wipes to class as a donation to WRC!

11:45-12:30: Gathering and Speaking: A panel discussion about Community Matters, WRC, and what it means to practice seva yoga.

12-4pm: Replenishing Spirit: Enjoy health and beauty services like henna, reiki, reflexology, bio-mats, and more. All proceeds go to WRC

1:15-2:15: Family fun with yoga. A donation class- Bring the children!

2:45-3:30: Sanctuary Meditation: Supporting the Women's March and Equal Rights for Women Globally. Donations welcome.

4-5:30: Bhakti Fire:  A donation event with Asana with Sara from 4-4:45 and Kirtan with Usha and Shannah from 4:45-5:30. Come for both parts or just one!

4:30-5:30: Asana from the heart with Erika

5:45-6:45: THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY! Hello from Community Matters and a warm welcome to the founders of Women's Refugee Care. Hear their story and their life-changing work for families new to America and Providence

7:15-9:15: The Joy of Community: Music and Mingling make Magic. We feature community musicians in a coffee house environment of music, visiting, snacking, and enjoyment of CommUnity.

Throughout the day, there will be a silent auction, healing treatments, and live music. At the end of the day we'll announce the winners of our  silent auction items. Proceeds of these items will go to Women's Refugee Care.
